About Your Group
Epilepsy Action is the working title of the British Epilepsy Association. This is the country’s largest support group for people with epilepsy, having numerous branches across the U.K. The association is led by people living with epilepsy – those with the condition, their families, friends, carers, health professionals and a whole host of others on whose lives epilepsy makes an impact. We provide advice, information and emotional support as well as training awareness of a condition that has for centuries been misunderstood.
The Coventry branch meets at 7:30pm on the fourth Thursday of every month, in the Friends Meeting House, Hill Street. We would like to stress that we are not a ‘members only’ group: we welcome anyone who wishes to learn more about epilepsy.
The association has 80 odd accredited volunteers across the county and one of these is based in Coventry. This means that we can provide talks and presentations, confidential one-to-one advice and, where necessary, home visits. To contact the accredited volunteers, call the helpline number below and ask to be put in contact with your nearest accredited volunteers.

Please note: Members often choose to cancel August and December meetings, preferring a social evening in a nearby pub at these times of year. Please check these dates with the Coventry phone number above.
