About Your Group

Who are we?

Coventry Asian Blind Association is a network of blind and partially-sighted Asian people living in and around the Coventry area.

What do we do?

We provide information, advice, emotional support, and counselling for blind and partially-sighted people and their carers.

How do we do this?

As well as holding weekly meetings, we regularly hold social, recreational, cultural and educational events. We are always trying to improve access to these facilities for blind Asians living in the Coventry area.

We identify other issues and difficulties encountered by blind and partially-sighted people, particularly in the area of welfare service.

If you know of someone who may be interested in our group, why not make them aware of who we are and what we do? Also, if you would like to offer your services to us as a volunteer, you could act as a sighted helper for reading or note-taking, or help us to organise one of our many events.
