On Tuesday 10th November 2009, Lancashire will be holding a free conference for all local authorities, charities and citizens groups with an interest in improving services for older people. Whether you are an older person or someone working with or representing older people this conference will be of interest and importance to you.
There will be a number of keynote speakers including Richard Jones, Vice-President of the Association of directors of Adult social services and members of Lancashire's Older People assembly as well as workshops and a beacon Market Place. the ain is to offer the opportunity to see first hand the many excellent and innovatiove services Lancashire County Council offers to its Older citizens.
