CEN holds events which bring community groups together to learn from each other, share information and influence decision-makers. The events are dynamic and interactive.

We also advertise events held by community groups, or meetings and training open to the community. Click here to view the calendar. To advertise your event, please contact us.

Opportunities to have your say

Ward forums are a chance to get involved and get things done. Meet local people, councillors, council staff, police and community and voluntary groups to discuss issues affecting your area.

Find out when your ward forum is, click here.

Check out our events calendar and the council's  website for further details.

CEN Events

CEN and its partners organise a wide variety of events bringing a diverse range of people together to provide information, learn about and respond to issues affecting our communities and the world in which we live.

CEN Conferences have:

  • created the framework for Coventry CEN
  • defined our aims and objectives
  • consulted on Coventry's Community Plan
  • looked at community issues such as how to involve young people more

Places are restricted to CEN members.  Registration is free and refreshments provided.

CEN Information Fairs

Often working in partnership with other organisations, CEN organises Information Fairs to provide presentations, demonstrations and opportunities to get involved in local, regional and national events.  These events are open to CEN members and guests.  Registration is free and refreshments provided.

Single Issue Workshops

From time to time we hold workshops which focus on one issue in particular. These bring key decision-makers together with members of the network interested in this issue.

Training Events

CEN also organises training events which have included community representation, workshop facilitation, charity trustee/director and community writers courses, environmental and intergenerational workshops.
